This long overdue post is in remembrance of a special visit from representatives of Allies in Youth Development (Allies for short) in 2022. Allies has been working with local volunteers from Cusco trained by the non-profit organization and left in charge to lead Allies’ work in the region, supporting orphanages in Cusco. And we’re excited to continue working with Allies as they plan to send volunteers to Cusco, Peru from the United States and other countries in the future.
We were so honored to be able to share Peruvian culture while celebrating in the growth of Allies volunteers worldwide. During the Allies trip in 2022, we welcomed our friends with a Huaylas presentation, which is a traditional dance of the Andes mountains.
We express our most heartfelt gratitude toward Allies for the work they’re doing in Cusco, Peru. It’s so exciting to be a part of the change in Cusco!
