Does the Lima Airport Have a Lounge?

Although the Lima airport (the Jorge Chavez International Airport or Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez) isn’t that big considering how it’s such an important hub in South America, it does have various lounge options in the international and domestic departure areas where you can escape the craziness of the airport before your flight. The downside is that there can be a long lineup to get in during peak times, so this may not be a viable option if you don’t have much time before your flight.

There are 2 Lima airport lounges found in the international departures side:

  • Hanaq VIP Lounge
    • Complimentary luggage storage, snacks, alcoholic drinks (two per adult), and Wi-Fi
    • Includes a children’s area and conference rooms
    • Usually busier than the Sumaq lounge
  • Sumaq VIP Lounge and Business Center
    • Complimentary snacks, alcoholic drinks (one per adult), Wi-Fi, and printers
    • Showers available for a fee
    • Maximum 3-hour stay

There are also 2 restaurants on the international departures side that offer free food to members depending on your benefits:

  • Bleriot Bar & Lounge
    • Very limited seating
    • US$27 off the bill for the purchase of any meal and/or drinks
  • La Bonbonniere
    • Plenty of seating
    • Wide variety of dishes
    • US$27 off the bill for the purchase of any meal and/or drinks

And there’s 1 Lima airport lounge found in the domestic departures side:

  • El Salon by Newrest
    • Complimentary luggage storage, snacks, alcoholic drinks, showers, and Wi-Fi
    • Includes a children’s area
    • Maximum 4-hour stay
    • Children under 5 years old can enter for free with an adult
