One of our favorite celebrations at Jóvenes Con Propósito (JCP; translated as “Youth With Purpose”) is “Time to Fly” – after having spent around 3 years with the organization, it’s now “time to fly” for 3 disadvantaged youth at JCP. At Peru Travel With Purpose, we donate a percentage of our profits to JCP, so it’s extra gratifying to be a participant in and witness to these events, knowing that we’ve done our small part to make a difference in the lives of others here in Cusco, Peru.
This year, we send our heartfelt congratulations to the following youth in their “Time to Fly” graduation ceremony and farewell party:
- Cristhian Vergara Huayllas
- Juan Pablo Tunqui Caballero
- Wilmer Flavio Vargas Pacheco
From here, Cristhian, Juan Pablo, and Flavio will take and put into practice the knowledge they received and skills they developed during their time at JCP as they integrate into and become a valuable member of society. They’ve now graduated from JCP and are ready to take on the responsibility of their new role in the society of Cusco.
